Kelsey is a licensed professional counselor and has worked in the mental health field for the past 14 years. She specializes in adolescent therapy with expertise in depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum, and other related disorders. Kelsey utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches but draws heavily from CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT.
Kelsey has experience in group and individual work in a variety of settings including outpatient, residential, and day treatment.
Kelsey believes the key to successful therapy is in building a trusting and meaningful relationship with the client. She strives to meet the clients where they are at and often tailors the sessions to be specific to not only the clients goals but to their interests as well; utilizing art, games, movement etc. in order to apply therapeutic concepts.
