Barb DeMilio, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides treatment for younger children (ages 4–12), adults and older adults on mental health issues. Her degree was obtained at UW-Milwaukee where she specialized in Marriage and Family Therapy.
She has previously worked in a variety of clinical settings including: inpatient psychiatric programs, hospital medical social work and discharge planning, and outpatient psychotherapy clinics. Barb has had many years in the field as a compassionate provider and leader within Behavioral Health.
Barb has expertise in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, parenting issues, grief/loss, and marital communication/conflict. Her work combines a number of traditional approaches with a focus on both cognitive behavioral and systemic techniques. She believes that trust is the basis of a collaborative relationship in treatment, creating a safe environment where change is allowed to happen.
